Lots of non-profits will be at the show this weekend. B.E.A.R. Task Force will provide bear information, decals, trail signs, and brochures. Dr. John Baumrucker and his Bolivian Mission will sell his home-made jams and salsa plus turned pens from Bolivia. Jane Chalker will sell coffee and colorful decorative art from Haiti for her Haiti Mission. The Gilletts from Scaly Mtn.sell (and demonstrate) their beautiful turned pens to fund international food programs. Scaly Mtn. Women will have a booth with chocolates and baked goods to benefit their scholarship program. Lastly, the Cruise sisters will have their hand-made bracelets to support melanoma research.
Visit the show June 25/26 at Founders Park in downtown Highlands. 10-5 both days, no admission charge.
